Early Christmas Present

After about 20 years, I finally got the courage to put new carpet in. It is in the front room, down the hall, and down the basement stairs. I also got a new HD television and stand to match.

I recently traveled to Las Vegas to participate in a baby blessing. Jesse has a new son and named him Grant Reed Owen. This photo was taken at the Bellagio Hotel and shows four generations. This was a fun trip. After returning from Vegas I didn't have so much fun. I found out I had a hernia and had to have an operation. I had it done in Montpelier on Monday the 2nd of March. I am still pretty sore from the operation, but should be doing better soon.

Grant Reed Owen Blessing/The Walkabout

Amanda and jeremy's (Katelynn, Brynlee, and Ella), Jesse and Sarah's (baby Grant), and Richard and Lindsey's (Kylee) kids. I was able to go to Las Vegas for Grant's baby blessing. The pictures in the gardens are at the Hotel Bellagio on the Strip. We also went to The Hard Rock Cafe and M&M Store- I got a Hard Rock hat to wear to church. THe last picture shows the grandkids in front of the chocolate water fall that was in the Bellagio. We watched the water show at the Bellagio and saw the lions at the MGM Grand. Barb and her kids wore me down and were so annoying the whole time, I'm never coming bnack to Las Vegas- maybe just to see Kent, but that's it! (jk).

(Very serious business- picture of me & Barb)

kent visit

Kent stopped by to say hello before heading back to vegas. He's doing great with the Institute Program- it keeps him pretty busy along with the other problems he has to face. He came over for a few hours that day on his way home after visiting his Granddaughter at the Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City.

Jasons Family

Jason came to Bear Lake to visit two weeks ago.
